I lived in the Harrisburg area for about 18 months during the pandemic. My home was just a few miles from the recently decommissioned Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Plant, which suffered a partial meltdown in the 1970’s. The plant was in the early stages of being dismantled when I took a series of photos. This is one of those photos.
Microsoft recently acquired this plant and is in the process of spinning it back up to provide power for hungry AI datacenters.
Taken August 12, 2022. Location is Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Plant near Harrisburg PA, USA.
Camera is Olympus E-M5 with Vario Lumix G lens. Filters unkown.
